Meet Our Practitioners

Nefertitti Scott

LCSW

Nefertitti has 19 years experience working with children and families as a MICA Specialist DCP&P Family Service Specialist, School Based Social Worker/HIB Specialist, Child Study Team Social Worker, and an  In Home Community Counselor. Nefertitti incorporates art, music, and play into the therapeutic process with individuals and groups.

Alyssa Simmonds

LCSW

Alyssa has 15 years experience working with children and families. She has experience working as a school social worker where she worked on a Child Study Team, as well as provided individual and group counseling services. She also has significant experience providing intensive in home services for children and families. Alyssa enjoys infusing the arts into her sessions to help engage children and adolescents in therapy. She specializes in working with individuals with Anxiety, PTSD, Depression, Mood Disorders, Familial Issues, Behavioral Issues, and ADHD.

Ani Silvani

LSW

Ani has more than 20 years of counseling experience. She began her counseling career working with children and young adults as a school counselor. She now primarily works with adults, couples, and families, addressing a wide variety of issues. She has experience in relationship counseling, conflict resolutions, behavior modification, crisis management, and addictions. Ani incorporates diverse modalities in an effort to progress treatment and best serve her clients.

Shauntel Lucius

M.MHW, LAC

Shauntel takes an integrative approach to therapy, as the field of counseling is ever evolving. She utilizes Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Mindfulness-Based Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) when working with clients. Her focus centers around helping clients recognize their limitations and work towards a more optimal, fulfilling, and productive life. She firmly believes that the most crucial aspect of effective therapy is that the client and therapist work together to help the client meet their identified goals in treatment.  Shauntel has experience working with individuals battling Substance Use Addiction, Anxiety, Adjustment Issues, and Family Counseling.

Lyle Wallace

LSW

Lyle has over 20+ years experience working with teenagers and families in various settings. He strives to build a trusting, therapeutic relationship with clients that creates a positive, empowering, and dynamic bond that focuses on improving and developing new skills to manage identified issues. Lyle works with individuals and families to empower them by exploring their unique abilities, strengths, and weaknesses so that they can overcome obstacles to their success. Lyle utilizes a multi-system approach in therapy. Theoretical frameworks used are Person-in-Environment (PIE), Solution Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and elements of Hip Hop Therapy (HHT).

Dana Jones

LCSW

Dana is an experienced Social Worker with a background in counseling, education, domestic violence and crisis. She specializes in working with children, adolescents and young adults. Dana is comfortable with a wide range of issues including but not limited to, depression, self-esteem, trauma, parenting, anxiety, ADHD and school issues. Dana uses a holistic approach to treatment, based on each clients' specific needs. She blends interventions from different modalities, including person-centered therapy, cognitive behavior therapy, reality therapy and mindfulness. If you are ready to take your first (second or third) step to mental wellness, Dana will meet you halfway and begin the journey with you- no matter what step you are on. She considers it an honor to be on your team.

Kristine Ostroff

LSW

Kristine is an experienced social worker who specializes in working with children, adolescents, young adults, and families. She has worked as a psychotherapist in both in-community, outpatient, and school-based settings. She has extensive knowledge on neuro-developmental disorders including ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and learning disabilities. She has treated children and adolescents with anxiety, mood disorders, loss/grief, trauma, and behavioral challenges. Kristine utilizes a strength-based approach when working with clients, recognizing that everyone has unique assets that can help them develop and grow. She provides individualized therapeutic interventions dependent on the client’s needs, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Play Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. Kristine creates a non-judgmental space for her clients so that they have the ability to explore themselves fully and achieve their goals.
